Driving Lessons in Glasgow
Learn to Drive in Glasgow
Your City. Your Licence. Our Job.
Learning to drive in Scotland's biggest city means mastering everything at once: busy junctions, bus lanes, roundabouts, dual carriageways and the M8 rumbling past the city centre. That's exactly why Glasgow learners come out of their lessons as genuinely capable drivers — and why Vision School of Motoring has been teaching here since 2010. We're a DVSA-approved driving school based in Giffnock on the city's Southside, and Glasgow is our home turf.
Glasgow has three driving test centres — Anniesland, Baillieston and Shieldhall — and our instructors know the character of each one. We'll help you pick the centre that plays to your strengths, then train you on the kinds of roads you'll face around it. You can read more about each centre on our driving test routes page.
Every lesson is one-to-one in a dual-control car, with pickup from your home, work, university or college anywhere in the city. We teach seven days a week, 07:00 to 22:00, so lessons fit around your shifts, studies or family life.

Why Glasgow learners choose Vision
We don't just rehearse test manoeuvres. Our instructors build the judgement and road sense that keep you safe long after the examiner hands over the pass certificate — defensive driving, hazard anticipation and confident decision-making in real Glasgow traffic.
We also cover the towns around the city: take driving lessons in Rutherglen just over the south-east boundary, or driving lessons in Paisley to the west — plus East Kilbride, Newton Mearns, Giffnock, Clarkston, Bearsden, Bishopbriggs, Clydebank and surrounding areas.
